Day 2 of Fall Trip

Our first stop on the Nantucket/Vineyard Corvette adventure and the purpose for being in that region was the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA. Corvette Club members from MA started the Vette's to Vets event some years ago ... the event is a 5 mile + parade from a Billerica, MA staging area through neighborhoods to the hospital to display the cars on the hospital grounds , the Vets who can come outside can vote on the cars they like best ... the fee to bring your car to the show is a selection of needed personal items .. socks , underwear , slippers, toiletries , sweatshirts , etc. from a list provided by the hospital ... this year there were 675 + Corvettes from all of the New England States , Canada and 14 from the First State Corvette Club. They were expecting enough goody bags to fill one tractor trailer but they had to bring
