Our very own President, Marianne Callhan strolls the runway for a great cause!
Dover, Delaware – On March 1, 2025, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) hosted another successful Lights of Life Gala at Bally’s Dover, bringing in a remarkable 460 attendees.
The event’s Survivor Showcase featured 9 local Delaware breast cancer survivors, (Amanda Evans, Marianne Callahan, Karen Laitman, Janene Kahn, Rosie Rolph, Beth Bland-Denisuk, Elle Sheaffer, Veronica Pitts, and Sandra Addicks). Survivors from different walks of life shared their stories with the disease and how the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s survivor programs help them live life to the fullest.
Said Marianne, “What an honor it was to be able to participate in such a wonderful event! I hope our gala served as a message of survival and confirmation to others who may be affected by this horrible disease.”

2025 Annual Open Car Show!

The First State Corvette Club set a new record in its continued support of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition donation. This support would not be possible without the participation of a varied group of automotive enthusiasts who brought their rides to the club's annual show at The Pizzadili Vineyard and Winery. On behalf of the Coalition, we extend our thanks and appreciation to each of you!
Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition Program Manager, Stephanie Cumella said, "Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition (DBCC) had the honor and privilege to attend and be the beneficiary to the First State Corvette Club Wheels and Wine Open car Show on September 14, 2024. A whopping $6,271.23 was donated to DBCC. Additionally, $500 was donated directly to DBCC by a sponsor. On behalf of DBCC, thank you for your unwavering dedication to our cause. Your support empowers us to continue providing vital resources to the 2530 breast cancer survivors we supported last year and support for those in our home state who will face a diagnosis in their future. Your generosity and support of DBCC directly translates to helping to ensure parents are present at their children's birthdays, giving families more precious time together at holidays and keeping our communities whole. Together, we are making a difference. Thank you!"

Your continued support has been greatly appreciated and we feel so honored that you have maintained your support of the Home of the Brave Foundation.
